Halloween is finally here, the question remains: what to dress up as? Many women play it safe with the typical costumes ranging from nurses, cops, firefighters to any animal (i.e. cat ears); for which these costumes take minimal effort for makeup. Time to try something different! I decided to experiment with mass amounts of makeup and glitter to create a mermaid look.

The final look.
Materials Needed:
-Fishnet tights
-Fake eyelashes
-Blue eyeshadow
-Glitter/Stick on rhinestones
How To:
- Start off by taking a pair or black fishnet tights over your head and around your face.
- Next, take the blue eyeshadow (Urban Decay’s Electric Palette, the color fringe) and brush over the fishnets on to your face for a ‘scale’ like effect. You can play around with different shades and colors!
- Remove the fishnets.
- Also, sweep the blue eyeshadow from the inside tear ducts down halfway under your eye.
- Take a gold or silver eyeliner pencil (Personal favorites: Urban Decay’s goldmine or cuff) and use that on the other half under your eye.
- Apply fake eyelashes with adhesive glue as close to your natural lashes as possible.
- Use the eyelash glue to apply glitter to your eyelids and all around your face.
